Attention Statesmen! Ready to wipe out the doldrums of the past year? Then set your sights on three events that will celebrate our high school experiences and friendships.

Rites of Passage — A Legacy Project

Two graduating classes, separated by 50 years, finished the high school experience during tumultuous times. Class representatives from 1971 and 2021 collaborated virtually on a discussion comparing and contrasting the social factors that influenced their perspectives of history and their hopes for the future.

‘71 Class 50th Reunion

When: September 17-18

What: Following safe distancing, social gathering with your fellow alumni for nourishment and beverages. Details to follow.

Why: Let’s celebrate and congratulate our fellow alumni for qualifying for Medicare and retirement! Yes, we have memories to revisit…but more importantly, we have friendships to renew and stories to learn from.

Where: The Edge event venue in Webster Groves; details to follow.

Fundraising for a Gift to Graduating Class of 2021

When: Now thru September 18

What: 2021 Class Fall Party

Why: This class has experienced a rough senior year of hybrid learning platforms, minimal social contact and canceled much-anticipated social events, like prom. The ‘71 Alumni would like to sponsor a social event scheduled for when these graduates return for the Thanksgiving holiday. Details to follow.
